Another stinky plant and garden photos

Well not really a plant, but in the spirit of Wayne's beautiful corspe flower photo, here's what I found in my yard... it's a Stinkhorn mushroom.

And some gratuitous garden photos...

If you look closely, the mushroom is just to the left of the tree trunk.

One last flower photo...

Thank you! It was designed by a nice Japanese man here in town, who put in the rocks, pond and planted most of the landscape. But it's a work in progress and only about half finished, mainly because we have had so much drought weather that I've lost 50% of what I planted the last two years. Oh well, what's a hobby good for if it's finished.

Yes, I had 3 Newfs, a mess of rescue dogs and various other dogs that played there, and they had doggie door access to the area. Just Miss Piper now and an occasional visiting dog. Except for some minor breakage of stems, I never had a problem. Knock on wood (no pun intended).

Oddly enough, I only had one of them go in the pond once, although they couldn't get enough of swimming at water practice. Hugo would sometimes like to lay down on the ice in winter. But then he was a nut job, bless his heart.
