That's odd. Or maybe not. They did accidentally book a non-pet friendly room to a pet person earlier, so perhaps that was it. Once the person moved, problem solved for them. hahaha

Glad you're coming Megan. And yes, the BM isn't far at all. Probably a whole 3 minutes by car or 15 if you walk the beach!

I was hoping I would have her before the OC weekend and just bring her as a surprise but that wont be the case.

Yes, I'll be in charge of food. I'm going to wait until Oct 1 to bring it up, but basically we'll be having two pot lucks (people bring food to one or the other) and Suse and I will be planning out a breakfast for Saturday morning. The Windjammer has kitchens, so people staying there can cook or heat up food, and people driving in or staying at the Barefoot Mailman can bring paper goods, condiments, pickles, olives, and sides or snacks which can be picked up at the store. On Oct. 1 we'll start arranging who will bring entrees, breads, salads, and desserts. So if anyone has a specialty or food allergy, feel free to PM me asap so we can get the ball rolling. I'd like to have the plan finalized by Oct. 15th, to give everyone time to prepare! I'll also start a new thread to keep the food info easy to access.
