LOL I was actually just thinking the same thing! I apologized on behalf of all of us, but she said it actually keeps her busy, come Nov 1st she doesn't have anything to do! lol :)

That's true...they're closed up tight (except for owners and contractors etc) after Nov 1st. That's why we get to use the condos and the "courtyard" that last weekend...they spend the winter doing any renovations, buying/cleaning furniture, getting it all ready for the next tourist season. LOL During prime time they only allow dogs up to 60 lbs and they're not allowed in the courtyard (or on the beach for that matter).

Hey all! Since I am new to the OC get together, I was wondering when is everyone heading down on Friday? Early? Late? Just trying to get a feel for my day and if I should bother even working a half day.... :p

Two more days and we'll be on the sand!! We will be leaving sometime mid morning and plan on being there early afternoon! Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!

Friday late afternoon. Let's all do a "NO rain" dance, okay? LOL And make SURE you take warm clothes and boots, and gloves. It's always windy at the beach and it's only supposed to be in the mid-50's on Saturday...with rain. This is going to be interesting, for sure. hahaha

We're getting there Thursday early afternoon. Since we are coming from over 600 miles away we decide to make a longer vacation of it. We are planning on leaving on Monday morning, unless we freeze to death and leave earlier. Everybody should skip work and come on Thursday, that is the best weather day of the week.

No Dawn...they have vacuums and maid service if you want to take advantage of it! I don't bother since we are the last rentals for the season and when we leave everything gets stripped and cleaned for next year.

Tina popped by earlier and gave me a whole bunch of her home made cookies http://www.sugarplumcottage.com/ to bring down and also gave me some boxes to put in with the raffle stuff.
And thank god I don't have to bring a vacuum cause I kept thinking how am I gonna do that!

I'll also be bringing a SMALL dog dryer...and my grooming stuff. I don't plan on doing any grooming, but a brush and comb comes in handy. LOL You might want to bring some spare sheets to throw over the furniture. I usually do that, but mine don't get on the furniture. I just have them handy. Oh and if your dog uses a fan...bring one!

All sheets, towels, linens, pots, pans plates, cups, glasses, flatware...are there. You'll need a hair dryer and your shampoo, etc.
