Katala tried the Air Dogs (like Dock Dogs). She could care less about fetching the stupid Wubba and did not want to jump off the dock but she was very happy to go in the ramp and have a nice swim

Several New-Pen-Del members were hosting an opportunity to try drafting. Our dogs really took to it and I'm very grateful they gave us this chance.

Here is our blind Kilrain having a good time and doing better than I ever dreamed he would do.

This is Katala with the drag board. Sorry for the quality of photos Art is a much better photographer than I am.

That looks like so much fun!! Where was this held? I 'm hoping to find a draft clinic to start my boy. I LOVE Katala... I would do the same thing...keep that dumb Wubba away from me, I want to swim!!!!

Great shots Sharon! Thanks for sharing. They look like they did so well :)

Newf.. it was at the PA Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA. I know Club Fido in Palmyra is trying to get enough participation to possibly start a drafting clinic there.

Hmm... I will have to look at the calendar on the draft clinic.. that should not be toooo far. :)
Michelle,
I hope you can come. We signed up. They are letting us borrow equipment until I figure out what to buy. I'm very confused by the Siwash vs. the Wilczek Siwash harnesses and I haven't even started looking at carts yet. I'm thinking about the Wilczek version because I eventually want to do team draft and if I read it right they have improvements for that.

Hope to see you there!

Sounds like a lot of fun. Really want to start Poppy on draft, but need to get any of her monkeydoodle pulling under control first.

Sharon,

If I get a chance this weekend, I'll give you a call... schedule's been nuts.

draft clinic looks like fun, but Chumley is only 14 mo. I don't think they want weight bearing on them until 18 mo.?

So cool!! I keep saying I'm going to get Maggie to pull a cart so she can carry groceries from the store. Ashton asks me if I really want to be known as the Crazy Dog Lady and be single forever.

I still want to do it!
