No fireworks, per se, but I live down the street from Disneyland, so we hear the fireworks there every night. Poppy is used to them. They are just far enough away not to be concerning, I think. and she cannot see them, so that probably helps.

Here in Canada and in the U.S. we don't celebrate Guy Fawkes night.
There are fireworks in Canada on Halloween though.

We went to Disney on our Honneymoon! Its a mad place.... In South Africa we are a melting pot of cultures, my hubby and I are from Europe Spain/England/Belguim there are many French here, Germans and then Africans, Indians Cape Coloureds Etc. As a result we celebrate just about every thing known to man today is DIWALI too. Hindu festival of light...

The first time I took Clifford to watch fireworks I was worried about him. If he was upset we would have just came home. We go to a big area on a river with lots of people for Canada day here to watch fireworks. Of course he loved all the people. I thought he would be scared, bark, or fall asleep when the fireworks started. None of the above. He sits there and watches them. I have taken him several times to different fireworks and he seems to enjoy it. Only dog I've ever had with that reaction. I also have a Jack Russell who barks at them so she stays inside when there are fireworks.

Actually, one part of Canada DOES celebrate Guy Fawkes... here in Newfoundland we still have community bonfires, not so much fireworks, thank heavens... and the fire department here in the City will be kept busy! Good luck tonight, my girl detests fireworks!
