Yet another poop / food question

Awhile back Shadoe had some unexplained explosive diarrhea , after vet test, all the other dogs getting it and process of elimination we traced it back to the food. So I switched them all to TOTW boar and Salmon mix. Little mixed breed had been on TOTW previously.Stools are great, very easy to clean up..nice and firm, but I noticed there is a lot more in terms of volume then when they were on the Pro Plan..and Shaode is begging for food now. He didnt do it previously. They get 3 cups twice a day.
Does volume have to do with the food not being completely digested???
After the diarrhea episodes I called Purina to see if they had changed there ingredients and the question was never directly answered.
They seem to like the TOTW mix much better than the Shredded Blend chicken/ rice ProPlan.
While the Proplan filled them and they had less stool...the stool was inconsistent. Thought??

I definitely notice a different volume of poo depending on the type of food. I believe it does have to do with how much is being digested.

How old is Shadoe? Others can comment on the amount to feed, but if he's getting enough calories from the TOTW, you can supplement with green beans to fill him up.

I feed TOTW Salmon. All the poops are firm and small. Mine get 3 to 3 1/2 cups per day.
I thought you were a Canidae user and distributor. Did something change your mind?

Snuffles is also on TOTW Pacific Stream at a bit over 2 cups a day now. 2/3 in AM and 1 1/2 PM. He just has no real appetite for his food in the AM. Since switching to TOTW, I bet I have had the most consistent poops not real hard and not real soft 2 to 3 times a day.

I am a distributor for both. About 4 or 5 years ago Canidae changed their formula to include millet, which my Samantha and Chase are allergic. So I changed them to the Canidae grain free. Then I switched to TOTW because it is grain free and lower protein. The Canidae Elements protein was too high for my crew. I also have more consistent poops and Adam does not try to eat poop anymore.

I still sell lots of the Canidae. I will say that my two do not have as good of coats on the TOTW than they did on the Canidae. I was just talking to Gary the other day about adding something to their food to help their coats. Their coats seem dull and dry.
