Nita,

As always, you're wonderful! Jeannie mentioned something you could help with in another one of the treads.... my head's a little blurry right now... but you might check the other threads under this topic!

Can we have the auction on Saturday sometime? We have to leave sometime on Sunday and I don't want to miss it! :D

Can you also tell me what a brown bag raffle is? I've never heard of one before!
Once I figure out the concept I'll be able to decide what I'm going to donate! :D Thanks~

A brown bag raffel is where things are put on a table next to a brown bag. you buy tickets and put them in the bag of the thing you want to win, then the winner ticket is drawn from the bag. it's cool cause you only put tickets in bags of stuff you want, you don't have an announcement of now we are drawing for this prize and all the tickets are in together.

I think having the brown bag raffle and silent auction end on Saturday would be best. I was sort of thinking after dinner, but if people aren't staying for dinner, we can do it before. Whatever works best for most!

I'm beginning to get PM's about items being donated.... it's going to be great!

I didn't know what it was either, but yeah, we call it a penny table here in Ontario too. Must be a the 'Canadian Translation'
