One often forgets that the joy of a puppy (and we've had so many here lately) always ends in the sorrow of loss. I would say something stupid like "it's the circle of life" and all the other cliches, but we all know that. And, it is also why I have to believe in The Rainbow Bridge. I know Gloria will be laying there waiting near Ursa and soon Echo.
