Here I am !!! It has been a really rough going for a while now. My sister had lost her son in an automobile accident four years ago. She was a single mom and, naturally, it was most tragic as he was her entire world. He was 19. She was always very brave and insisted on doing everything herself and, even though she grieved, she was just very "together" for a lack of a better word. We spoke often as she lives in PA and I am here in FL and life seemed to be coming along well. Well this past Thanksgiving she went about her routine, went home, wrote two notes and took her life. I miss her so and I just can't imagine what went through her mind that day. She must have been so sad and felt so alone.
Then I found out Bear had a rapidly progressing cancer and after much agony I helped him cross over the bridge at the beginning of the year. He was my first Newfie and Casey and I were just torn apart. So, Casey and Bumper and I - the three amigos - went on with things. Then I was looking on a site that I had been keeping my eye on and low and behold she had just had a litter. So, I phoned her right away and, long story short, that annoying little monster is Rogan !! He is really not annoying, I had just forgotten all the fun things puppies do - you know, can't drink without standing in the bowl and trailing water EVERYWHERE - sleeping all day and getting ready to play when I am ready to sleep - you remember. He is a beauty, though, and I am really hoping to show him. Something I always wanted to do and I do think he has the potential. There is a show here in Orlando this weekend so I was over there today nosing around and will go again tomorrow. Got some good information, just have to get things going.
Anyway, so nice to "be back" after some times I really thought for a while I may not pull out of !! My faith, however, is strong, my daughter is beautiful, Bumper is a love and what could be better than puppy breath, among other things.
