What age should you start using the Mars Coat King? Any recommendations on a certain brand?

I would wait until the adult coat comes in fully whatever age that is. There is only one true Mars Coat King. There are other similar looking products but only one original. Most pet supply online places carry them now. I got mine a long time ago from Petedge.
Just be careful..You can damage the coat if you use it improperly or too aggressively.

I suggest you get the MCK at www.groomersmall.com You will need to get the 18 blade double wide. I also suggest you get an extra set of blades.

I see no reason why you cannot use it to help pull out the puppy coat once the adult coat starts coming in. Just be sure to separate the coat and comb from the skin out.

Thanks! What is the difference between MKC and other strippers?

Many of the other strippers are made to pull out the guard hairs. The MCK pull out only the undercoat when used correctly.
