Hello All,
My name is Gidget and I am the PROUD owner of 3 newfs, 2 of which are "newf rescues" and the other is a "show dog". Well, we like to think she's a show dog. Their ages are Jake: 8 years Newf Rescue
Baloo: 2 1/2 year Newf Rescue
Ariel: 2 year old Newf Pup
&
Coty: 16 year old Pomeranian
I heard about Newf-Net on Newf-L, and what the heck, you can NEVER have enough info about Newfs!!!!! I am the Fundraising Chair Woman for our local Newf club (SCNC) in Indiana and we are also new members of the NCA. Thanks Lord Gad for another forum for us Newffie Luvers!!!!

I'm another 'newbie', both to the board and also to owning a Newf.
My family and I brought home Aurora (Rory) a week ago after a year of consideration, research and waiting for just the right puppy. She is now nine weeks old and developing a very distinctive personality!
Prior to Rory, we had a Golden Retriever who passed away a little over a year ago, living to 14.
So far Rory has been a bundle of energy, cuteness, cheekiness, and entertainment, as we knew she would be.
I also found this board from the posting on Newf-L...I knew there had to be a board like this out there, I just wasn't able to find it through the normal search engines I use. I'm sure I'll be posting many questions!
