Uti infection. Vitamin c

Anyone been prescribed vitamin c by there vet. For there newfies Utica did a round of antibiotics Clavox I believe just had our 14 week old Sasha back to the vet for her rabies and vet said she still has it saw a little discharge befor putting her on another round of antibiotics she wants us to give her 500 milligram of vitamin c 2 times a day for at least a month anyone else use this on there newfie

No. In fact, having UTIs myself, I have been told to avoid citrus. The best preventative is staying as clean as possible.
