Tomorrow is one week for Bear to be here. He is doing well. He passed his health check with flying colors. No Heart worms even though he was not on preventative. He got his first bath and was a very good boy. Didn't shake once and was very patient. Got all the undercoat combed out, only need to clip up his ears and paws. He is very eager to learn. He can now lead, sit and will sometimes stay. He loves to be with people. Kisses are always in order as well as leaning to get hugs and pets. He loves his belly rubbed too.
I let him loose in my grooming shop today. He had to visit with every customer and their dogs. Then he just laid down by my stool and slept. When I went to answer the phone he had to go too and sit on (yes on) my feet. He did decided to visit the waiting room and helped himself to a few bones and a stuffed toy. He was so proud of his find. He had to show it to me. Of course now that is his toy. I washed Sara and Sam today and he had to stand with his front paws on the ramp and help me.
Not one time has he pottied inside. He is eating well. Really adjusting. I believe he is going to be a very good newf for someone. Oh we think we have a home for him.
A few minor details to work out. Like training him do steps if he don't already know them....But that is another post.
All and all he is a wonderful fellow. Whoever gets him will be blessed.
