Unusual Behavior...

Our female Newf, Amy, is behaving a bit unusually...we are in temporary housing while we're building our new home. The apartment we're in is in an old home, with a back porch. For some reason, Amy frantically crawled under the back porch the other evening and would not come out for even a biscuit. We finally got her out from under the porch -
what could be going on? She seems perfectly healthy and "like herself" other than this instance...
Appreciate your thoughts/help-

This is just a Joke, but the first thing I thought of was the movie sixth sense, Maybe she see's dead people.Hope not for your sake
. But it sounds to me like she was scared of something.

She definitely thinks it's her den...I even put a planter in front of the crawl space behind the stairs so that she couldn't get in, and she tried to push it out of the way this morning. I'm just afraid there would be snakes under there or God only knows what...(apparently, there's a skunk family in the neighborhood...)
