Our all breed club in town, the manitowoc county kennel club, has many many members BIG into the UKC, i thought i would provide this link for those who might be interested, i am of the high opinion that this is a great registry, been around a long time, and i will be showing here as well some friends of mine, there is no shame in trying a new registry at all.

there is a schedule of events, and the shows sometimes are limited, meaning that newfs are not showing becouse no one asked them to be added to the premium list.
we waited 8 months for the newf to be listed in wisconsin.

club members told me it is more relaxed and easy going and a pleasant experience.

SAR - Thanks for the link. I met a woman here in Orlando at our last show here and she said the same thing about UKC, more relaxed, etc. I think we will be looking in that direction too, once we know a little more about what we're doing. My Bear is not quite up to star status, so we will be working obedience with him, but I believe my little Bumper is turning out quite nicely and I would like to put her in and see how she does.
