Time to change chow again. Sigh.

After a bunch of successful years on Holistic Select Lamb & Rice, Elwood has turned a tad, er, goopy. The company claims they haven't changed formulas, but it's been two bags now and I'm thinking it's time to change. We'd tried Orijen and ToW a while back and both were total disasters. Any recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated! THANKS! Michelle

Which Orijen did you try? Ours boys can't eat the 6-Fish, but do very well on Regional Red. We also use Horizon Legacy. Both are from Canada.

You may also want to check out Acana.....made by same folks who make Orijen, just with a little less of the "super stuff" so it may work better for you. Find what works best for YOU!

Hmm, I hope there is nothing wrong with the Lamb and Rice as I have been feeding that one for many years.

Wellness, also changed recently. I'm kinda glad we are transitioning from dog food. Good luck with the search.

Due to severe allergies, Elvis has been on Blue Buffalo Lamb and Rice for about 4 years now. He can't have beef, corn, wheat, or chicken but hasn't had a problem on the BB L & R. I know you've been feeding a higher quality that that, but maybe it's worth a shot?

We've given up kibble completely. Every time we found something we liked, she would either start reacting or they would change the formula and cause problems. We're doing the fish/bread diet for now and it is awesome. And very easy.
