Ticking

On landseer newfs, at what age is the ticking finally over. Is it just for the first few weeks, or is it an on going process.

For Molly the ticking was established when she got her full adult coat. It is what it is!

(Is that what you meant by ticking, or does your pup actually "tick" :lol

From the Newfoundland Standard..."Clear white or white with minimal ticking is preferred".

But it is kind of cute. I call 'em freckles.
