The difference a year makes...

Darwin one year ago.

Darwin today.

Same tennis ball bone--his very favorite toy ever! Roughly the same place on the floor.

I'd love to see more size comparisons!

Great pictures! They do grow too fast! I can't believe that tennis ball bone lasted a year!! Mason has destroyed so many! He does love a tennis ball!!

It's possible that the bone is a different one, I think there were two, and one died. We also have the larger version. But the little one comes out first thing every morning. Every night we put all the toys into his crate (he doesn't sleep in there at night). In the morning he beelines to the crate, takes out all 10 or so of his toys and puts them around the house, about, eh, 12.2 feet from each other, just in case he needs one at any given moment...

It still amazes me how tiny they first are and how fast they grow. Love these pictures!

River and Malcolm on March 5th

River and Mal on July 23 - From 2.5 months to 7 months old

Mal's growth astonishes me. He went from 18 pounds at 2 months to 94 pounds 5 months later at 7 months. That is a rate of 1/2 a pound a day for five months. Wow!
