Boomer get's neutered this Friday the 6th. I wonder if he'll be even more of a love bug? I can't imagine him being any more affectionate.

I think you'll find he's just his normal self, Theresa. Neutering just eliminates hormone-related behavior, like reacting to a bitch in season. Give him a hug for me, and don't chew your nails up to the elbow like I do when mine have any surgery. (I know you will, but he'll be fine!!)

Good luck today, T! I'm sure everything will turn out well. Give Boomer lots of hugs from me.

As far as being a love bug... Solo was neutered at 6-7 months old, before we got him. So I'm not sure how the personality changes. I do know that with Khiori - nothing changed except stray dogs stopped coming around lol

We just brought Boomer home from the vet. He is doing fine. He's still groggy from the anesthesia. Now I have to keep him from licking the site. As dopey as he is, he's still following me around the house! lol!

Theresa,
When Sam was sick she stuck close to me like double velco. I think she wanted comfort because she was afraid--just like a child--after all she is my baby

Of course we understand. They seem to become velcro dogs when they need us, even more when we need them. Amazing isn't it.
