Well I have searched this thread and the site to ensure I'm not doubling up on previous messages. I think I'm in the clear, but apologies if this has already been covered.
I just read The Angel by My Side by Mike Lingenfelter and David Frei. About the wonderful Dakota the Golden who literally saved Mike's life. It's a truly amazing read, I want to gush and gush about it but perhaps it's not for everyone. I got it through Amazon and read it in about a day and a half. Would have been quicker only the last twenty pages took about an hour to read as I had to keep putting the book done and going to do housework to try and stop myself from going into hysterics.
It is aboslutely heart wrenching but so uplifting at the same time. It probably did me the world of good to have a good bawl
Can't recommend it highly enough. I'll be buying it for everyone I know who has a doggy-thing going on. Which is nearly everyone I know so it's going to be costly...
Has anyone else read it? I'd be interested to hear reviews from others...
