Thank Yous

To try to keep donations up for future years, I would like to make sure that the donors are thanked, and am volunteering to personally write letters. (even to companies whose products I did not win myself.) Rhonda, should I see you about this?

You may have already posted this, but I missed it...do you have a list of donations/companies that donated what? I'd like to thank the companies that donated the things we won.

I am actually working on a list, it might take me until next week but I will try to get it done as fast as I can. If you want you can email me the items and I can give you just that info for now until I get my list completed since there are so many. This is great because the more people they hear from the better!!

How do you go about approaching all these companies for all those awesome donations and did you have any difficulty with getting them to donate?

I just came up with a pretty generic request letter nothing professional sounding at all, and no I haven't had any problems with getting donations most companies have been very very generous and if they get enough thank you's and compliments from people again this year I am sure they will do the same for us next year as well.
