Suggestions Sought

Although its not quite time for Nationals fever yet- for those of us on committees it has hit!!

I am looking for suggestions, comments, etc regarding the Fine Arts Auction and Brown Bag Raffle.........any and all welcome.

With the economy being tight and not predicted to be better in the near future, people are very careful how they spend what "fun" money they have, which is what the auction depends on "fun" money.

Areas of interest include:

Why or why not do you attend the auction?

What would you like to see changed, kept the same?

What would make you attend the auction if not planning to?

Any suggestions at all............

I've never been to the national auction, but If i was going, I likely wouldn't have more that $100-$150 dollars to spend on the auction (at best)...so, maybe if there were smaller items? that or fewer I guess...if they are more expensive items, I'd likely only bid on one, then be done.

We did this last year and had much success- we had auction items begining at 50.00...it was well recieved!!
