stinky feet smell

Why not try some dog shampoo, perhaps diluted in some warm water.... be sure to rinse and dry thoroughly!!!

On a slightly related note, the title of this thread reminded me of a thread on Newf L several years ago. Someone posted that they thought their dogs feet smelled like Frito's cornchips and wanted to know if anyone else throught the same about their own dogs.

As it turns out, several people did!!!!

That Frito smell is yeast (according to our vet). I use that listerine dilution on a cotton ball when their feet get wet and smelly but they don't need a bath. Works like a charm. Stoli's can get really smelly from walking in the wet grass.

You also can thin out the coat there!
use a thinning shears and hack away, esp in summer under the chin area.

Celyne's not allowed to smell Ceilidh's feet, because whenever she does, I HAVE TO run out and get some Fritos for her to eat.
