Southern California?

Anyone else on here from the LA/Santa Barbara/Ventura County area? I'd like to have some kind of get together down here. I know there aren't many Newfs in the area, but I've met a couple at the dog parks.

This may be a bit late but I live in Moorpark, California. I've only recently become a newfie owner.

I know there is at least one other person on here in the San Fernando Valley area. Also I see a group of Newfie owners that gets together at the dog park here in the valley early on the weekends. However I try to avoid that dog park as much as possible because of all the problems there.
I hope you can do a get together I am sure you would all have so much fun.
I would probably have to take one of the pups home because I have such BAD puppy fever...LOL

Belmont Shores is said to have a really nice dog beach, but I haven't been, have just been told about it...

I agree there are tons of places to have a get together around here, I just wish all of you had been here years ago when I first joined. Now with no newf I would just look like a puppy thief..LOL

We took Sadie to the TO dog park yesterday. She had a blast! She made friends with a Pit Bull named Clutch. He was really mellow, being his first time to a dog park. Sadie did extremely well with her socialization.

We should get the two together.

I'd love to get Pilot together with other Newfs. We're in puppy kindergarten with a bunch of TINY little dogs. He really needs some buds his own size.

How old is Pilot? Has he had all of his vaccinations? Are you ok with dog parks?

Pilot is 4 months old. He will have his last round of vaccinations this Saturday so we should be good to go after that. I'm a little unsure about the dog park thing, but only based on hearsay. We haven't actually visited one yet obviously.
