Whenever Murphy isnt on carpet or someting not tile, he slips i thought he would have grips on his paws, is he supposed to, or do they all have slippery paws?

if you don't trim the fur between their foot pads, it can make almost any surface slippery! Ozzy hates it when I trim his feet and we have to do that tonight actually. We are going to try hot dogs as treats, hope that makes the pedicure easier on us all!

If the fur between the pads hasn't been trimmed REALLY SHORT, it's like the dog is wearing socks...and they will slip all over on the hard surfaced floors. Maggie's "foot-fur" has to be trimmed at least once a week. Slipping on the hard floors can be very hard on their joints, so be sure to trim that fur.

Thanx for the advice cause murphy has fur stickin up through his toes, still mom trims his feet and he hates it as most dogs would.

Troy doesn't like it much either, but we've hit on something! Bob will sit down with me too, and just scratch and talk to him while I'm snipping away, and it makes all the difference!
I'm not abve trying a drop or two of rescue remedy if he really gets whacked out about it either. Good luck!
