This breaks my heart - the dog that played sirius black in the harry potter movies has been turned over to german shephard rescue:

(It also breaks my heart because this of course led me to looking for pets on petfinder, and there's a great pyr up for adoption. I would love to take her, but I really don't think I can handle the barking. *sigh* I guess it's better to know one's limits...but why do people do this to their dogs?! /vent)

Just chuck the dog away when he doesn't make you any money anymore :grrr: :grrr:

If it was only a time issue, surely he could have made the effort to find them a place.

Well there goes the "no animals were hurt in the making of this movie"...They just get chucked out at the end

the barking in some is not bad and you can train a barker( PYR) to control it in the pyrs......i used a small air horn to correct the behavior in Gandolph

It is always upsetting when people turn over their "family members"......but especially so when they are seniors! Shame on them!!!! Kim

That is so sad. I know, though, that there are a bazillion Harry Potter fans lining up to adopt the poor guy. They will take good care of him, I'm sure.

At least he put them in a rescue situation. As said before, millions of people will want them, but look at all the others.
