SCNC’s 11th Annual Draft Test was a wonderful success! Our Judges were John Jackman and Ken Dunaway. In spite of the weather, the Draft Test ran smoothly and was carefully thought out! Both the maneuvering course and the freight haul were challenging. Exhibitors did really well weathering a misty rain and muddy day to achieve their titles! All but one qualified, and that particular handler and her 8 year old newf did extraordinarily well as she had never seen a Draft Test before! With the exception of one minor flaw during the Basic Control exercises, their performance was near perfect.
Our Stewards were top notch and enthusiastic despite the cold and damp conditions. Stewards included: Shirley Mittendorf, Karen Dunaway, Denita Jackman, Nancy Gasser, Darlene Mayo, Sharon Bauman, Tammy Taskey and Russell Milliron.
