Scent of the Missing

This is about the training of a search and rescue dog. I just finished it the other day. I believe it's the one Ardeagold recommended. It's wonderful, the rapport between human and dog is rather like that in Merle's Door. I loved it.

I'm almost finished with it. Amazing story about Susannah and Puzzle, isn't it? The puppy stories made me laugh out loud!

Puz was quite a little challenge....hahaha!

Susannah is on the road doing book signings these days, and is in the process of writing her next book.

I'm so glad you posted this and I read about it. I'm heading to the book store tomorrow. I checked out the book's site and saw the trailer chapters, narrated by Susannah Charleson and read the reviews. It does indeed look fascinating. Thank so much for the recommendation.

Susannah is a gifted writer and one of the nicest people to meet. She did a wonderful presentation at her book signing as well. I really enjoyed the book.

Does the dog die? I have missed reading many wonderful books because they do. Just can't handle it.

Puz is alive and well and still working. I believe she's 5 now BTW.

Plus Puz accompanies her on most of her book signings. Very sweet golden!!!

Danny and Kate and I are all on the Golden forum where "Mac" (Susannah's nick name) and Puz reside. She's been keeping us updated on Puz's training since she was just a baby. Lots of people have had a chance to meet them when they travel through a city on a book signing adventure!!!

Very nice lady with quite an interesting life!!
