In the Fargo forum newspaper on Sunday they were selling Golden Ret/Newf puppies.

This bothers me sooooo bad! Why can't people be more responsible?!? :mad:

I totally agree. This weekend someone came up to me and was just loving on Hudson (he loved it, of course). Anyway, she was asking all kinds of questions about newfs and said she had a Great Pyr and thought it would be so cool to get a newf so they could breed the two.

She said she thought they'd be cute puppies. I told her I thought they would be too but that I would never in a million years think about something like that. She asked why and I unloaded about health clearances, etc. Perhaps I was a bit overbearing, but hey ... she asked.

Considering how many Newf/Pyr Mixes have been in the shelter in the last month (5) and in the paper (4) I would think people would do research first before breeding them on purpose.
