Puppies due...

puppies are now due in 2 days. I have started checking my email every 5 minutes. It is taking every ounce of willpower I have not to start bothering the breeder. I had to post about it somewhere though! I can't wait to be able to add my own newf pic to an avatar! (after I figure out how to add an avatar...:icon_stupid:)

I just realized I put this in the wrong thread if someone wants to move it to general - sorry!

I remember that day very well...waiting, waiting, waiting for a first glimpse at those sweet faces. They come out looking like baby seals! So excited for you. Keep us posted!

How exciting. I felt the same way last Feb. Just to warn you, the breeder will be exhausted, so try not to fret if you don't hear from here a lot at first. I spent the 1st 2 weeks at my breeder's house with 2 new litters and we were like zombies....round the clock care of the pups, taking turns day and night.

Go to UserCP in the light blue bar at the top left. Click on Edit Profile, then on Edit Profile Picture. Browse to find a pic and upload. Pics can't be too large though, pixel-wise.

Give it a try!

hrm. I did that and it showed up on the UCP as being there but never showed up in the forums. I tried a few different pics and sizes but to no avail. I'll mess with it at some point and figure it out=-)

and I know I can't bother the breeder - as much as I waaaaaaaaant to - I won't lol! SO HARD though!=-))) I feel like a kid at Christmas where every day just goes by as slow as molasses...

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 250 by 250 pixels or 100.0 KB (whichever is smaller). And make sure you 'save changes' at the bottom when you're done!

(Just ensuring I get to see puppy pics, is all). :sunflower:

aha! I figured out the avatar! I was trying to upload it to profile pics, not the avatar pic - silly me! Soon I will have a newf there, but for now it is 3 of my other furballs :D Winnie, Baggins, and China

:coffeedrink:Are the kitties as eager for the pups arrival as you are ?
Congratulations on both the impending arrival -and- achieving avatar.. that is still a challenge for me! I've only managed to change it twice and it required all sorts of machinations to get the picture to fit!

:roflmao:..........not likely! I'll have to see if I can get a pic of all 3 cats and Jedi too. I am going to have 3 very unhappy kitties at home, I'm sure. One of which will take every opportunity to pee on anything she can and make my husband furious - that will be exciting :cussing2: . My ragdoll will be EXTRA clingy, which I don't really mind. He gets so jealous, it amuses me :p

Jedi, our dog, will be thrilled! His bff had to go to the rainbow bridge (love that way of putting it) this past weekend :( . She was too old to really play with him, but they were together every day and I can tell he has been missing her. He needs a new friend!

Oh it'll get worse after the pups are born.. I drove my husband and everyone around me crazy waiting to bring my Emma home. I lived for those weekly puppy update emails our breeder would send!:D:D

lol! I have been driving my husband completely nuts for the past 4 months or so. I'm pretty sure I have watched every single newf video on youtube, gone to just about every breeders website I could find - just to look at pictures even though I already had a breeder!

I can guarantee I will drive everyone within a 10 mile radius of me completely nuts once the babies actually get here! My therapy is going to be........shopping!! Newf shopping!!! I have told myself that I'm not allowed to start buying anything for the puppy until he is actually born - once that happens I'm going crazy!:roflmao:

So sorry to hear about his best friend. :( Glad he'll get another new best friend to play with! And yep, like Emma's momma I couldn't wait for my weekly email updates. And here we are...Moose is 9 months old, and I STILL drive everyone nuts with stories and pictures of him. It's an addiction. I'm over here waiting impatiently with you! ;)

My next puppy, I just want to appear on my front porch one day. I bought the most stupid, useless ( a pink heart shaped bowl that held about a cup of food ) stuff for our puppy. And I also told random people what I was buying it for, when she was coming home and anything else I could get out before they walked away.

Also, can we get a frontal ( ha ha ) of your ragdoll?? He looks like his coloring is like my male Ragdolls. Aren't they gorgeous?? Mine is also bad.
