Program flea treatment

Has anyone used this? I usually use frontline but last time Jorge developed a hot spot 24 hours after use, I am not sure it was connected but worried it may have been so was thinking about using program on him only and treating the other dogs with frontline as usual. Has anyone else used program before? is it ok for a new?

You have to remember that Program does not kill or repel fleas. It has an ingredient that makes the adults sterile so they cannot reproduce.

yeh I know but thought if all the other dogs are frontlined I would have the best of both I am just too worried to use anything on his skin as I think it contributed to his last hot spot can't be sure but don't want to risk it.

I've only used it on cats and it worked fine. It took awhile, but all three cats were flea free.

We recently switched from Frontline and Advantage to Comfortis. We are ALL so much happier. It's a tablet that the dog eats. My vet has had good experiences with it with his danes, as well.
