Recently I asked for recommendations for footwear for Morgan and after reading the recommendations I decided to order the Woodrow wear socks.

I am pleasantly surprised!! I ordered the XL for Morgan- she is a small female Newf and I actually probably could have ordered the large, but only for her front feet. I may still order the large...
Sizing is really important, as they are socks. Thick sweat socks. So, if they are too big, they will work themselves off. The grippers on the bottom are large, and thick- thicker then the traction lettering on children's socks. They do not seem to make her hot, although it is still cold weather and my heat is never above 65.
So, the first time I put them on, I showed them to her, gave her treats- put one on, gave her treats etc. Morgan does not really like having her feet handled (bc she associates it with nail cutting, which she HATES) Now, when I take out her socks, she gets excited and lifts her front foot for me to put them on. I give her treats after all four feet are done.
I have hardwood floors and tile and she has many orthopedic issues, so I was more concerned about her slipping when moving too quickly with the other dogs, than with her sliding when she gets up, which hasn't become a problem yet. They really work. She is walks better, stronger, and quieter!!! I have also noticed that she is getting up more quickly.
I think these would be great for anyone who has slippery floors like me or for an older dog or a dog who is afraid of slippery floors. Again, sizing is key. When in doubt, go smaller, they stretch. The website does not show pictures of the treads, so if anyone would like them, let me know!
