Here is a new topic for me.
I've been researching Probiotics to help prevent yeast in my Berner pup, Belle, as an after affect of antibiotics.
Questions.
Is it true that if there are no extenuating circumstances (course of antibiotics, bowel problem), there is no need for a Raw fed dog to be on preventative Probiotics?
I've also heard that they should be used preventatively...ie. prevent swimmers ear/itch in the summer.
I've heard they are NOT effective During the antibiotic course.... Counter thinking, that they ARE as long as they are given some hours after the antibiotic is administered.
What responce from the gang?
