Preventing the gulping

Hi all,

When researching about food and the type of dishes I should utilize with Drako, I came up to this video where they show a better way to prevent gulping. They show that by adding ice cubes to the kibbles they increment the eating time (the dogs have to play around the ice to eat their food), and how this works better than those anti-gulping dog bowls. I have tried this with my puppy and it seems to work, but not sure if it's ok or not. Any thoughts or opinions?

I've used balls or rock before. Large enough they cannot swallow. I've also used a muffin tin, just divide the kibble up.

I have used a cookie sheet with success for Hannah.
The worry I would have with ice cubes is bloat if they bolt down a lot of ice along with the kibble.

He finishes within minutes so the ice doesn't melt as much. I like the tennis ball idea! I thought about the muffin tin and cookie sheet, but I am afraid he would end up moving it everywhere (pushing it with his nose or pulling it with his paws. Maybe I'm over thinking it).

I am like jeannie, I used river rocks for some of my gulpers, have none now. My dogs would spend time chewing the ice as they love ice :)
