Pouting Puppy

hey there any of you newfie lovers ever had your puupy pout.....little luca pouts and sulks when we let him out of his crete...he just sits there with sad eyes for about 15 mins until i can entise him with a treat and a toy.........anybody have this problem...luca is 12.5 weeks old

Well how long has your baby been in the crate, may be your leaving him in it too long at a time, and then again it may be that he is just a nefw , tuggs still pouts, about antthing if thinks he isnt getting any attention

That's a tough one. Is he sleeping when you get him out of his crate. I'm that way when I wake up, until I get my coffee.

How long is he being left in his crate? It also could be that he is just a little reserved and adjusting to his new home. Make sure he understands that his crate is a fun place to be. Never use it for punishment.
Going outside should be the first thing you do with him after he gets out of his crate.
After he does that, then play games with him & use the treats. I wish I had a clearer anwser for you. Good luck

thanks guys for the input...no hes in his create at night from like 11 pm til 6 am..and he goes right out when i open the create.....then we play....then the mrs. puts him in again around 9 am til 1 pm...i think he just likes to pout like a little kid.....thanks again\
