Popcorn

I have often thought of asking if there are any concerns about giving popcorn to your dogs. If we even mention the word POPCORN, the dogs go crazy. They think it is better than any treat. I think I read somewhere that they shouldn't have any half-popped or un-popped kernels. Do you give your dogs popcorn? If we put any popcorn on the floor, they suck it up like a Hoover. What's up with that?

Thanks for your feedback.

All 3 of our gang LOVE popcorn, we let them catch it, or if we want a little bit of peace to eat some ourselves we scatter (like feedin chickens) a couple handfulls across the floor for them. I've never heard anything about it being bad for them though.

funny this topic should come up. I just started feeding TICA 2 cups of air dryed popcorn for lunch thinking it would fill her up and no calories. by now everyone probably knows my dog is alive only for the pleasure of eating. I can't seem to break the three times a day feeding and she was starting to gain weight. so far this seems to work but I never even questioned if it might cause any problems.
