Playing With A Smaller Puppy

Bailey (110 pound female) is now 18 months old and I have been asked by a friend if her male 16 week old Husky/Golden Lab puppy could play together. Both of them have met while leashed and appear to be comfortable with one another. Bailey has been a regular at the local dog park without any aggression incidences. Is Bailey too old/big to play with him in a fenced field? We would supervise them at all times. If not, at what age would it be okay for them to play with one another? If it is okay for them to play together, any suggestions to make sure neither of them gets hurt. She seems so big compared to him. My husband and I are hoping to add a male Newfoundland puppy to our family in another year or two after Bailey is spayed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Chase who is 105 lbs plays with my 11 week old puppy that is 17 lbs. The puppy was 12 lbs when they started playing. Actually we have to stop the puppy from being to rough with Chase. The puppy likes to bite ears, flews and swing from Chase's tail.

I never thought about what the puppy might do to Bailey. Good point. Bailey has played with pups who were 7 months old and at that stage, it was more about chasing. She loved chasing and being chased but, tired sooner than the pups. We took her home for a rest.

Bailey was the biggest in his puppy training class at 6 months he was 60+ lbs, he favorite little buddy to play with was a pug LOL

Agreed watch the puppy teeth, I didn't realize when Bailey was playing with an 8 week old lab puppy until we got home and he checks were a mess from where the puppy had grabbed on to him or tried too.

Ruby regularly plays with a golden retriever and lab puppies off leash at daycare. This started when the golden was about 9 months old? She also plays with a 1 y/o little dog (not sure what breed, but she's about 15-20 lbs?) and they do just fine.
