pigeon toed / inversion?

Although I don't really know the correct term to use, it seems that when Luna is walking quickly or running her front feet turn inwards and toward each other. When she is walking around the house or on a loose lead her gait is pretty normal. Anything faster than that and her feet turn in. It's difficult to get a picture of since I have to be in front of her and catch it at a fast clip but I will try this weekend.

It doesn't seem to bother her and it doesn't stop her from running, but I am wondering if this is more bone related or gait related?

Hi Diane
this has been a trend in the conformation ring for quite a few years now.
if you go to a show, watch how many toe in severly, you might be surprised.
i would prolly suspect the genetics but wait till she is fully grown.
try walking her in sand to strengthen the pastern area.

Thanks SAR,
Normally she's running off leash in the dirt around the path at the lake, but I will make it a point to get her on more sand.

I just picture her with little leg braces

i have seen dogs in conformation (newfs)
that slip the pastern joint on landing.
be glad it is not as serious as that!
when the standard was changed years ago, wording saying, "slight toeing in is acceptable" i knew there would be consequences down the road.
and there are.
it is not pretty to watch! LOL
