Generic brand of Heartgard sold by prescription at Walmart Pharmacy......opinions??

I now just use the ivermec from Tractor Supply. Bottle lasts me a year or more with three newfs and costs about 30.00. Cheap, easy and effective.
I have not heard of PetTrust. Is it individual pills/chewables like Hartguard?

Chewable....supposed to be just as effective at half the cost
I just used my last chewables and am looking at cost effective alternatives
how much are you dosing???

I'd suggest talking to your vet about ivermec to make sure you are giving the correct dose for your dog's weight. I know lots of people use the straight up horse version from places like TSC and it does work, you just have to be very careful to use the right dose. Too much can be very bad.
