Park Pics

Okay, if you've ever managed to read more than one of my posts (You should win a prize if you have! I'm sooo long winded!), you know that my almost-8-month-old pup Ese LIVES to go to the park. I took some pictures there last week. Just thought I'd share them with you guys since you're so indulging!

Ese with his BEST friend "Ollie":

A second (literally) later: (Boys. *rolling eyes*)

Smokey, their other good pal, and Ollie found a very valuable stick. Ese decided he wanted in on the take. Note the "Oh @$%#!" expression on Ollie's face. hehe:

Great pics. It's nice to see "action" shots. With newfies it's a little more rare since we all like to take those great face photos!

The 2 of Ese and Ollie look like Morgan and Quark. I swear, those two can't be in the same room for five minutes without a wrestling match getting started. I walked in the room the other day and Quark had Morgan in a headlock on the bed! He's "winning" more and more now that he's getting so big. His body is almost as big as hers now, but his head can only be described as gargantuan!

Great action pictures! It's not strange that there aren't many of those taken. It's so difficult as they are always moving and most of them are just blur. Well at least that's my experience.

Update:

Yesterday was Ollie's one year birthday. He must've thought the nice lady in the tennis court got him a ball for his birthday. He wound up in "time-out". Ese, who had been following him everywhere, came up when he was put in time out to tell him to come play. I took him aside and quietly told him "No. Ollie's in time out. He has to sit." Ese looked at me and then walked over to Ollie again. I thought HE was going to end up in "time-out" with me. But, he simply sat down quietly right next to Ollie until Ollie could go play again. It was soooo precious!

P.S. Yes, I always talk to my dog like he's a person. I'm silly like that. I SWEAR he knows what I'm saying.

I do exactly the same thing! Only problem is that I tell people at work what my dogs say back to me! When we lived at our last house, the backyard was full of squirrels and Frank used to tell us how she managed to protect the house while we were at work.
To this day, we can't say squirrel without Frank running to the nearest window. She hates those things.

Love the photos!

The middle one could practically be a picture of Rory and her good friend Suki (except Suki is a Rhodesian Ridgeback). The two of them wrestle like there's no tomorrow.

Like Ese, Rory lives for the park. I love taking her there because she has her group of friends and hangs out to see them!

kzdz, good to know I'm not the only one!
"Frank" - now THAT is a cool name!

Amy, funny you should mention that Suki is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Ollie's owner tells me Ollie was rescued from a local shelter and although a mix his vet is convinced he has some Rhodesian Ridgeback in his bloodline.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments!! I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures!
