Do your newfs visit the lake often? We are bringing Ozzy to a lake for a short vacation next week. I am very anxious to see how he will react. This will be his first real exposure to a lake or swimming. I hope he loves the water!!

This was Kira's first trip to the lake, and I'm very pleased to say that we all had a great time. Our place on the lake is about 80 miles north of our home here in Beavercreek (Dayton). Due to crazy schedules, we haven't been able to get up there as much as we'd like.
I was filled with trepidation about this weekend. I had no idea of how Kira would react. I had visions of ending up in the lake on Friday night.
Surprisingly, she was really reserved about everything, and behaved beautifully. She loved the water, once she realized that it was such fun. She and Russell played in the water for over an hour. Cora was in and out, of the water. She has never been wild about it, but I suspect that in time, she'll see Kira having such a blast, that she'll become very enthusiastic.!
Have fun, and if you do take your digital camera, remember to make sure it's back in it's case before your newf shakes!!!! Things were quite wet on the boat after that!

What great pictures Annie, were they taken with a digital camera? If so what kind? (I just got a second hand one, like it but will eventually go for a good one). Of course maybe it's not the camera, could just be you are very talented.
