I just saw a post on facebook about a newf that was 16.4 years old. Someone responded who had one 16 also. Looks like our breed is aging more gracefully all the time.

Gypsy, Gracie's half sister turned 15 yr and 9 months a couple of days ago. Still doing fine

When my first Newf left me at almost 10, I thought I had done well. Then Echo made it to 13 and that seemed like success. Now I'm hearing 15 and 16. Makes me think we just might be able to routinely hold onto them just a little longer.

Elvis is 5.5 and it breaks my heart. He already has a gray chin!!

I don't like to worry about it, so I try to enjoy every moment with them, but mine are 7 now and in the back of my mind every little thing that is out of the normal I worry about it
