OC GTG Saturday Breakfast

A continental-style breakfast will be held Saturday morning at 8am in room 101. We will have bagels with cream cheese/jelly, muffins, pastries, coffeecake, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and tea. I am requesting a donation of $3/person to help defray the cost. Please let me know if you can attend and how many so I will know how much food to bring. Thanks!

Ha! That's what YOU think! I never get up early if I don't have somewhere I have to "be" ... but in OC, I swear I'm up when the sun rises. Don't want to miss that sunrise over the ocean you know. Plus, people are milling around, dogs are milling around, and Clifford won't sleep through it.

Breakfast is one of those times when all people and dogs are in one room, the newfs make a carpet and everyone sits around chatting and drinking coffee. People come and go as they wish, so the food will be available and the coffee pot kept warm until about 11 or whenever everyone is done. I will start serving at 8am, because I might not be up and at 'em before then (or I may be in my jammies with my curlers still in, lol!).

I'm sure Myra will make sure we are there, and she said to mention she likes her bagels loaded to the hilt with cream cheese and she also said to mention that Zeke's still on his diet so just a bit of unsalted butter for him.

Um, my count just got bumped up one. We're up to 4. Somehow another one of Ashton's classmates decided he *had* to come because Newfoundlands are his favorite dog ever. So now I have to figure out how to seperate the whole sleeping arrangement thing.

That made me giggle! I don't have a husband or a boyfriend! It's me, 2 13 year old girls and a 13 year old boy. Thankfully, they've all known each other since Kindergarten, so it's definitely just a friend thing, but still. I might stick the girls in the bedroom, sleep on the couch and bring an air matress for him. Although whomever sleeps there will most likely end up with Maggie, so I'm sure they'll all want to sleep on the air matress. :crazy:
