That first photo says it all. There is such peace, friendship, love and sweet humour in it. It should be framed or tucked inside a sympathy card.
So sorry for the loss of both of them. They seemed to be a special pair. Hoping they are sitting on a sofa cloud, together again as they should be, blissfully sleeping one (or more) off.

Hopefully Manfred genes will live on in a year or two. His sperm was collected not long before his untimely death. Pippa now about a year and a half, the newest in the home was selected as a puppy to hopefully be the mother of Manfred's puppies. Unless she has a huge litter, they are all already spoken for....and no I did not put my name in to be on the list for a Varmint.

I'm so sorry, Leonard. I loved all the antics of Manfred and his gang of varmints. I hope some day there will be little Manfreds running around you and causing you no shortage of aggravation. :0)
