I certainly hope I don't offend anyone with this post
On Pages 12, 85 and 93 there are pictures of a brown newf that has horrible conformation.
This dogs head looks like it was crossed with some kind of hound! I personally feel when writing a book about Newfs, one should not have photos of such a poorly bred dog. On the back cover of the book there is a photo of 2 browns laying down, and they DO have the correct head type.
There are many other photos that have beautiful newfs, but this brown one just really sticks out. Even when just researching the breed and getting this book (one of my first books) I could immediatly see that this Newf was definetely not up to the standard.
Does anyone else feel the same?
