Newfkom...For Real? WTF

So I read this dog blog written by these three hilarious ladies and one of them goes ballistic about designer dogs (esp. anything-doodle related, and the vitriol is directed at those breeders that purposely breed mixes, not the beloved rescue mutt). Anyway they mentioned a Newfkom. I got curious and had to see if this was something real or made up....it was real :shocker:
I don't think I can post links and all that jazz but yeah you don't have to look very hard to find it.

I don't want to get all up on a soapbox or anything :icon_stupid: but yeah that was what I was thinking.

That is a combination I never would have thought of. I don't think I have ever seen a Komondor except on TV - Westminster Dog Show. I hope this "designer mutt" doesn't become the next sensation like the DOODLES.

That's the first thing I though of as well. WHY do people feel the need to make mutts??? If you want a non-shedding, smart dog, GET A POODLE. I see zero value in breeding two established breeds-especially a Komodor and a Newf. Want a dog that doesn't drool? DON'T get a Newf.
