Hello all. I am in the process of considering this. I want opinions. Currently I teach a ceramics class at a local nursing home (teach may be too strong a word, touch up, with a great sense of humor may be more accurate 
). Well, as I was taking the last batch to be fired I saw a newfie statue. Of course I had to buy it, and I painted it up, and now I am thinking about doing more. I am considering selling them with all proceeds (after cost of firing and shipping) going to rescue (probably with the regional club I just joined (SCNC). I am trying to upload a pic of the finished statue. Stands about 8 inches tall. SInce I am doing these myself I could conceivably do a landseer, brown or grey as well.
