Since Mike passed away, I sold my Lexus sports coupe, and traded our Avalanche in for a GMC Acadia. I got a step that fits into the trailer hitch, and leave it on permanently. Mike and I had been looking at these, and planning on trading in the Spring. I used a large heavy ramp for Sully to get in and out, and it was just so heavy, and awkward. It has taken some doing, but Sully, yesterday finally is getting used to the step to get in. It will be so much better for him than the ramp.

congrats on the new car. We have an old ramp then bought the steps recommended here but Bailey wouldn't use either one, I think with his eye sight going he was just uncomfortable as his depth perception was gone.

Would have loved to use the step like you have but waited to long to get him acclimated to it. Glad that Sully is starting to use the step, makes it a lot easier loading and unloading.
