Jeb is our 120 pound newfie/lab mix who will be 4 years old this summer. He's a wonderful dog, very playful and loving. Sleeps with us, never gets far from us. We live way in the woods on 15 acres, about a half mile from the road. He never wanders far; we rarely hook him (only during hunting season.) He is the love of our life, having trained us very well! We'd love to have a playmate for him! We are in our early 50's, children grown, so he's our baby. When children come around he loves them and plays very gently with them.

I tried putting a pic as an avatar, posted it on foto place and linked the URL, clicked update profile but it won't stay there! Our daughter is in upstate NY near Bennington VT. Also have one in Sacramento, VA & a son in southern ME.

Here are a couple of pics I took the other day. Jeb got a new ball (the orange one) and that was the ONLY one he wanted! I need to scan one of when he was a puppy and slept under the woodstove (it was summer and the stove was not in use!) Now look at him, he is bigger than the stove!

re getting his 1/2 sister. Just learned the other little sis is going to Maine too. Wonderful climate for Newfs. Your place sounds like heaven.
