Thanks to everyone! Surgery #2 is first thing in the morning. I don't fully understand all that's going to take place. Hubby is squirmish about medical things, can't take hearing the details, so I just get bits and pieces.
Surgery #1 involved putting filters in her arteries so any blood clots that may be inclined to pass through couldn't make it to the critical areas.
We are all on edge, just praying she can still walk when this is all over.

Surgery #2 went well on Wednesday.
Last night they detected the start of a lung infection and put her on a ventilator, heavily sedated.
This is scary stuff.
